The programme will help

that involve appraisees in the review, decision making
and development planning

skills that are necessary to the success of an appraisal

achievement of mutually agreed goals
- Appraise poor performers
while maintaining their self esteem and gaining
commitment to action plans
- Identify training and
development needs through the use of the appraisal
interview

constructive criticism as part of their management style
- Direct and control a
difficult appraisal in a confident and positive manner
Programme design
This is a one day programme. It
concentrates on six skills that areas that are needed for a
participative and motivating appraisal interview. The programme
is built around a 41 page workbook and a series of exercises and
role plays.
