Objectives

1. Recognising when to use role-play technique.

2. Setting up the activity positively, including identifying the objectives to be achieved, briefing course members, observing the role play, identifying learning points and giving feedback to course members.

3. Choose from three different styles of role-play to suit the need, i.e. informal (spontaneous), formal (i.e. to written briefs) and reality role-plays (otherwise known as freeze frame role play).
